Richmond v West Coast
Saturday 2:10pm at MCG

Can the Tigers become the first team to be 3-0 in season 2017?
Form
Richmond are 2-0 though shouldn’t get too carried away with themselves given they have defeated only Carlton and the Pies. The Tigers v Pies match was a seesaw battle last Thursday and a quick 3 goal burst to the Tigers before and after 3-quarter time proved to be the difference in the end. The Tigers goal kicking accuracy and the ability to be more efficient going forward were the keys to their victory against the Pies.
The Eagles looked shocked at the way St Kilda burst out of the blocks against them on their home turf last week. The Saints lead at the end of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters before Josh Kennedy kicked 3 goals in the last quarter to get the Eagles home. West Coast only lead for 11 minutes last week despite winning the free kick count 23-8 and having 61 more disposals than the Saints.

What To Expect
The big question mark here is whether Dusty Martin will play through a fractured cheekbone. He looks set to be named but we can’t count on the same productive Dusty we saw in round 1 against the Blues. This is a big blow to the Tigers as the West Coast midfield has been in outstanding form. Sam Mitchell, Andrew Gaff and Luke Shuey have all been shining lights and the very consistent Matthew Priddis is now a fourth wheel in the middle, indicating just how strong they are. Defensively, West Coast were opened up last week against the Saints and conceded 29 scoring shots to 3-quarter time. Coach Adam Simpson will address that issue this week and look for a more defensively minded Eagles outfit. The match up of the weekend is in this game, as Alex Rance will go one on one with Josh Kennedy. Kennedy was held well by Nathan Brown before getting off the chain late in the game. Rance will not give an inch here and Wolfy can see Kennedy not scoring more than the 2 goals. The midfield depth and forward line goal kicking power will see the Eagles make it 3-0 to start season 2017.

Player Markets
Trent Cotchin has been the forgotten man recently as Dustin Martin has been taking all the plaudits from the media. Cotchin is averaging 108.5 fantasy points per game and more importantly is hitting the scoreboard with 3 goals in 2 games. He scored 104 against the Eagles last year and with Dusty set to spend more time forward with his sore cheekbone, the Wolf can see Cotch cracking the ton yet again.
Andrew Gaff has had an outstanding start to the Season averaging 36 disposals per game to rank second in the competition. He has cracked the 30-disposal mark in his last two against the Tigers with 33 and 31 respectively. The Wolf can see Gaff making the outer wing his own on Saturday afternoon and will be taking him to collect another 30 here.
Recommended Bet
Andrew Gaff 30+ Disposals ($1.65)
